SATURDAY APRIL 27
Working bee at Club House. Work starts at 0930 and will finish with a barbecue lunch at 1200.
SUNDAY MAY 5
Forced landing competition at Aldinga. Pilot briefing at 10:000 at the club house. BYO barbecue at 12:00.
Weather permitting, the competition will simulate a forced landing in the event of an engine failure. Pilots will make a glide approach at idle power from 2000’ overhead the airfield to land as close as possible, but not short of, to a designated point on the runway. Landing on the line scores 100 points; one point lost for each metre past the line; score zero for any landing short of the line.
MONDAY MAY 27 – WEDNESDAY MAY 29
The club will be supporting “On a wing and a chair”, an attempt by quadriplegic pilot Dave Jacka to become the first such pilot to fly around Australia. The Club will be providing local transport for the team of 6 from the airfield to their accommodation in McLaren Vale late on Monday afternoon and back to the airfield on Wednesday morning.

The Pratt Files. Bob Pratt will have a fascinating assortment of general knowledge questions and trivia to challenge you. Be there at 10:000 at the club house. BYO barbecue at 12:00.

Film night at Ingle Theatre, Pasadena, commencing at 6:30 p.m.
SUNDAY JULY 7
Precision landing competition at Aldinga. Pilot briefing at 10:000 at the club house. BYO barbecue at 12:00.
Weather permitting, pilots will make a normal powered approach to land as close as possible, but not short of, to a designated point on the runway. Score 100 points for landing on the line; one point lost per metre before or past the line.
