Charity Day at Aldinga Aero Club (TBC)
–
April 23, 2023
The purpose of the day's activities is to allow children who may be experiencing some life or health issues a chance to experience the enjoyment of flying. Children, parents and siblings from a Child’s Charity will be taken for an approximate 20 minute flight around Aldinga and surrounds, by pilots from the Aldinga Aero Club in their own aircraft, with a free bbq lunch to follow for all involved.
The aircraft are flown by private pilots who are licensed by either of the two governing bodies that control aviation in Australia - CASA (the Civil Aviation Safety Authority) and RAAus (Recreational Aviation). All aircraft being used are maintained, registered and insured under the regulations required by either one of the two above governing bodies to which they belong. The pilots are also endorsed by their respective governing body to carry passengers, and are respected and experienced members of the Aldinga Aero Club.
In summary, all passengers, parents and guardians must be aware that these are private flights, in private aircraft, with no renumeration involved, and that there is always some risk involved when flying in any aircraft.
The Aldinga Aero Club and all supporters of this event sincerely hope that all involved enjoy their flights.
