10:30 Presentation by Captain Rod Lovell describing the emergency landing of DC3 VH-EDC in Botany Bay in 1994,and the aftermath.
Rod was the captain of DC-3 VH-EDC that ditched into Botany Bay in April, 1994. Rod's presentation and his book "From Hero to Zero" blow the whistle on his treatment by the authorities which crushed him financially and destroyed his flying career.
The talk will be followed by a BBQ lunch which will be provided with the compliments of the Club. Please feel free to bring your family along.
